Premiers pas dans Pékin
Aujourd'hui, nous entrons officiellement dans Pékin!
Premier objectif de la journée: le Temple des Lamas, dans le nord de la ville (donc pas très loin de chez Emma).Alors pourquoi "Lamas" me direz-vous...?!
Pas d'animaux qui crachent ici, juste des moines qui pratiquent le bouddhisme tibétain emmené par le Dalaï... Lama! ("Océan de sagesse" en Tibétain). D'autres questions?
Sur le panneau à gauche, les quatre principales langues parlées en Chine (de gauche à droite): Mandchoue, Tibétain, Chinois, Mongol.
Alors certes, ce n'est que le dernier temple d'une longue, très longue série que nous visitons. Mais c'est l'un des premiers où l'on voit véritablement des fidèles se recueillir. Donc on aime beaucoup.En plus, on a la chance de faire une partie de la visite en compagnie d'une jeune chinoise, architecte, qui accompagne deux Français.
Inévitable la question sur l'invasion du Tibet par la Chine... mais là, la demoiselle reste de marbre, et nous fait comprendre que le monde entier se trompe sur cette question... Soit.
La principale curiosité du Temple des Lamas, c'est un Bouddha de 26 mètres de haut, censé être taillé dans un morceau de bois unique.
Après deux bonnes heures de visite, on quitte le Temple, et on décide de rejoindre la Tour du Tambour, toute proche.
Cette Tour porte bien son nom, puisque des dizaines de tambours sont effectivement installés à l'intérieur. Et ils ne sont pas que décoratifs: toutes les demi-heures, des gardiens viennent jouer dessus pendant quelques minutes.
Mais surtout, la Tour offre une vue intéressante sur la Colline du Charbon (derrière cette colline se trouve la Cité Interdite).
Et par une soudaine transportation, vous pouvez admirer la vue... inverse: la Tour du Tambour vue de la Colline du Charbon (c'est fou ce qu'Internet permet de faire...).
Retour sur notre tour, d'où on a aussi quelques aperçus sur ces fameux "Hutong" de Pékin, vieux quartiers en voie de destruction...
Une heure plus tard, on finit par redescendre de notre Tour, et on rentre tranquillement chez Emma, en parcourant quelques ruelles des "Hutong" environnants (et ce n'est peut-être pas une coïncidence si hutong signifie... ruelle!)
